Beautifully restyled with a modern, contemporary design, the villa boasts a large open-plan space downstairs with a high-end chefs kitchen, multiple dining areas and a comfortable living room. Sliding glass doors provide ample natural light as well as access to the spacious outdoor deck, with separate lounge and dining space and swimming pool.

Living
Polished concrete floors are carried throughout the downstairs space, connecting three distinct areas within the spacious, open floor plan for cooking, dining, and living. Is there anything more inviting than a super-sized, plush sectional sofa? There’s plenty of room to settle in for the latest must-see TV (complimentary Netflix is provided) or play a rousing game of cards with your friends or family. Sliding glass doors provide easy access to the outdoor deck or, if left open, allow a gentle ocean breeze to float in.

Cooking & Dining
Sleek and sophisticated, Catalina’s kitchen blends high end, stainless steel appliances with bright white cabinets and soft-hued, granite countertops. As functional as it is beautiful, the kitchen is well appointed with a large combination fridge/freezer, gas cooktop, double oven, dishwasher, and microwave. The enormous kitchen island serves as a roomy place to prep or simply gather for coffee and conversation with the entire group. The formal dining table is just off the kitchen, a beautiful custom wood piece with space for 10 to dine comfortably.

Sleeping
The deluxe master at Catalina’s is a uniquely appointed bedroom, created with flexibility in mind. Set up as a king and 2 singles for a small family, the room also be configured as 2 kings or split into 4 singles, ideal for 4 friends or teenagers to share. For added comfort, the master has reverse cycle air conditioning as well as heating, plus a Smart TV and its own luxurious ensuite with a freestanding tub. A further 2 queen bedrooms are also upstairs, both with soft carpeting, ceiling fans, ample natural light, and luxurious new linens. There is a second, shared bathroom upstairs as well.

Bedding configuration:

  • Bedroom 1: 1 x king bed and 2 x single beds with ensuite (can be converted to 2 x king beds or 4 x single beds)
  • Bedroom 2: 1 x queen bed
  • Bedroom 3: 1 x queen bed

An additional sofa bed is available in the converted garage, suitable for 1 adult or 2 children, and available for use on request.

Bathing
The master ensuite is a spa-like retreat, with high-end fixtures, double vanity sinks, a dual shower-head, and a stunning, freestanding bathtub. Also upstairs, the shared bathroom is similarly designed, with a calming grey and white colour palette, large standing shower, and double vanity.

The garage is not available for parking - guests are to park on the street.

Just 3 km north of Byron Bay’s CBD, Catalina’s is ideally located in a lively, new neighbourhood near North Beach. Exciting new establishments are opening all the time, from boutique breweries and inspiring homewares to casual bars and popular restaurants. Enjoy a low-key feed just across the street at Sun Bistro or check out Barrio, recently reviewed by Gourmet Traveller (link to: https://www.gourmettraveller.com.au/dining-out/restaurant-reviews/barrio...).  The nearby Habitat business precinct is home to a number of great restaurants, cafes, and shops, while a short stroll will bring you to the award-winning Elements Resort on North Beach for a sunset cocktail.

Many beautiful beaches and local sights are within a short drive from Catalina’s. To reach the centre of town, leave the car at home and take a quick ride on the world’s first solar train (link to: http://byronbaytrain.com.au/)  instead! Cancellation
Cancellations will result in a loss of your deposit OR full payment should this have occurred. We will endeavour to rebook your dates if at all possible. If we can rebook your dates for the same rate then we will refund you your deposit less a $100 cancellation fee and credit card fees if you paid by credit card. If we need to discount to rebook your dates then we will refund your deposit less the difference between the rates and a $100 cancellation fee and credit card fees if you paid by credit card.

Extra Fees
A $55 non refundable Booking Fee applies to all bookings.

Inappropriate Bookings and Schoolies
As a duty of care to our properties the management reserves the right to refuse any bookings that we feel may be inappropriate or fall across the Schoolies dates.

Christmas and New Year Bookings
If you're booking covers both Christmas Day and New Years Eve then the booking must be at least 12 days in length.

Noise
Noise/Functions/parties - Excessive noise and functions are not permitted as they can cause disruption to neighbours. A security company may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour incurring up to $200 charge for call out, which is taken from the security deposit. After one warning guests may be evicted from the premises by security with loss of rent and bond. If an unauthorized function is held at the property then your whole bond will be retained.

IMPORTANT The apartment/holiday house you have booked is privately owned and managed offsite. This means that it is not managed or associated with the onsite management. Therefore the onsite management will have no record of your booking, and will not be responsible to attend to you when checking in or checking out or offer any assistance. For check in and during your stay, if you require assistance you must contact our office.

A beautiful home in a great location. The beach, cafes and supermarket are an easy walk and the solar train into Byron was great. It’s a bit quieter here than right in Byron and we loved that.5/5 by ,
"Exceptional" This place is absolutely amazing! From all of the Outdoor dining areas and Beautiful pool/ Spa, To the huge open planned living when you walk in, then upstairs the bedrooms and bathrooms are so well set up and really do make you feel like your in pure luxury.
