Description

This charming, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom beachfront villa has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday in Byron Bay. A short walk down the road to a sandy trail which accesses the stunning Tallow Beach in moments. Enjoy the spacious, open-plan living area or feel the ocean breezes from your own private courtyard lounge space. The centre of town is just a short drive away, while some of Byron’s most popular cafes are within easy walking distance.

*Please note: Baby Blue is located below another private apartment that is rented separately, with its own separate entrance and facilities. The courtyard is not shared between properties, it is the exclusive use of Baby Blue guests. We ask guests of both dwellings to be mindful of noise and the private residential street in which the property is located.

The indoor living space at Baby Blue is open onto the dining area and kitchen, ensuring a seamless and connected flow of activity. Leave the sliding glass doors open wide to savour the salty sea breezes wafting in from nearby Tallow Beach.

Cooking & Dining
Open to the living space, the well-appointed, galley-style kitchen is fitted with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, gas cooktop, and stainless steel combination fridge/freezer. Sleek, stone countertops provide ample prep space while a roomy breakfast bar has seating for 4. Just off the kitchen is an additional, informal dining space with table and chairs for 4.

Sleeping & Bathing
2 charming and bright bedrooms are tastefully furnished to exacting standards, with a flexible bedding configuration ideal for a small family or group of friends. Overlooking the verdant front yard, the master bedroom has a king bed, which can be made into 2 single beds on request, along with an ensuite bathroom including a glass-enclosed rain shower. The second bedroom is similarly styled 2 single beds which can be made into a king on request. The second hallway bathroom is shared, with a rain shower and a lovely freestanding bathtub.

Just off the kitchen and dining area are sliding glass doors leading onto a private, covered and enclosed courtyard. Surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping, this charming retreat provides plenty of shade on a hot summer day. Settle into the comfy lounge seating area or enjoy a quick nap while gently swaying with the breeze from your own hammock.

There is parking for 1 car in the driveway (uncovered) and space for additional cars off-street.

Superbly situated on a quiet, residential lane, the property backs onto a peaceful nature reserve, where a short, sandy trail connects you to the beach in just a minute’s stroll. Bring your board and catch one of the popular surf breaks at Tallows Beach, or walk north along the pristine sands to reach the iconic lighthouse and Cape Byron. World-class dining, dreamy boutiques and much more await you in the centre of town, only a short drive away. To experience the area like a true local, take a quick walk down the street and savour a fresh coffee at Top Shop or Roadhouse, two of the popular cafes nearby.

Terms & conditions

A $1000 Security Deposit is required prior to check in.

Cancellation
Cancellations will result in a loss of your deposit OR full payment should this have occurred. We will endeavour to rebook your dates if at all possible. If we can rebook your dates for the same rate then we will refund you your deposit less a $100 cancellation fee and credit card fees if you paid by credit card. If we need to discount to rebook your dates then we will refund your deposit less the difference between the rates and a $100 cancellation fee and credit card fees if you paid by credit card.

Extra Fees
A $55 non refundable Booking Fee applies to all bookings.

Inappropriate Bookings and Schoolies
As a duty of care to our properties the management reserves the right to refuse any bookings that we feel may be inappropriate or fall across the Schoolies dates.

Christmas and New Year Bookings
If you're booking covers both Christmas Day and New Years Eve then the booking must be at least 12 days in length.

Noise
Noise/Functions/parties - Excessive noise and functions are not permitted as they can cause disruption to neighbours. A security company may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour incurring up to $200 charge for call out, which is taken from the security deposit. After one warning guests may be evicted from the premises by security with loss of rent and bond. If an unauthorized function is held at the property then your whole bond will be retained.

IMPORTANT The apartment/holiday house you have booked is privately owned and managed offsite. This means that it is not managed or associated with the onsite management. Therefore the onsite management will have no record of your booking, and will not be responsible to attend to you when checking in or checking out or offer any assistance. For check in and during your stay, if you require assistance you must contact our office.

We had a fantastic stay at Baby Blue! Highly recommend for a small family or two couples. Absolutely beautiful interior, everything felt brand new, and the hosts were very helpful when we needed them. Even dropped off a blender for us! You will need a car, but it’s short drive into town, and great to be a short walk to the beach. Will definitely be back :)
