Starline Alpacas offers farmstay accommodation in The Hunter Valley between Cessnock and Singleton, set amongst boutique wineries in the beautiful Broke Fordwich Wine sub-region in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
Our working alpaca farm offers a peaceful and relaxing farmstay accommodation experience. Here you are surrounded by the spectacular Brokenback ranges and the Yengo-Wollemi National Park . Enjoy the misty mornings, the clear night skies, the peaceful rural landscape of The Hunter Valley.
Our additional guest facilities include a saltwater swimming pool, spa, sauna and children's playground that are only a few steps away. Join friends at the poolside cabanas for a barbecue or hire part or all of our brand new Powerhouse function centre for your larger group events or meals.
Our accommodation consists of sixteen different facilities, being thirteen self-contained cottages and three suites, sleeping to eight people in one to three bedroom facilities. Relax on your own private veranda, enjoying the changing colours of the sunset reflected on Yellow Rock of the Brokenback Ranges, surrounded by the most peaceful and cute alpacas at only an arms' length from your cottage.
Starline Alpacas encourages groups of friends to make bookings with our cottages however the occupancy per cottage for sleeping and dining is restricted to the bedding provided. If you would like a larger space for a group meal The Powerhouse function rooms are available to hire and catering is available via local catering companies.

Cool off after a big day out on the farm with the Alpacas with a swim in our refreshing pool or relax and unwind in our spa or sauna.
Have a game of tennis with your friends and family on our fully lit tennis court which is set in the gardens near the pool.
Decked pool area with cabanas and BBQ's
Our decked area by the pool is perfect for parents to relax whilst watching their children swim in the pool or play in the playground. Join friends at the poolside cabanas for a BBQ lunch or dinner.
Children can have fun on our play equipment located next to the pool.
Meet the Alpacas
Watch the alpacas from your cottage, or visit them while you wander the fields. Take some food pellets with you and they will come over to eat from your hand. Watch the cria (baby alpacas) frolic in the late afternoon.
We have fruit trees that consist of quince, lemons, pears, apples and peaches. You are welcome to pick some fruit to enjoy on your stay.
Our focus is on presenting our own and others' farm grown knitting yarn, with various hand knit garments made from our yarn
