My Bondi apartment is simply furnished and appointed, but is fully equipped for a great holiday or business stay. Close to the beach, restaurants , cafes, shops and public transport, it has its own garage, sunny balcony and rooftop pool.

Description

My Bondi apartment is simply furnished and appointed, but is fully equipped for a wonderful holiday or business stay.

It is in a great location. surrounded by gourmet food shops, cafes and restaurants, with a bus stop outside the door.

It has a balcony with a view of the neighbourhood and the ocean, and its own secure garage- a fantastic asset in busy Bondi. The apartment faces the east, so you are greeted by the morning sun streaming through the large windows.

There is a rooftop pool, with panoramic views of the beach and the city. Perfect spot for watching Sydney's New Year's Eve fireworks- and no traffic to contend with afterwards, just go downstairs to bed!

I live in this apartment when I am working in Sydney, so it has all the comforts of home, including 100% cotton bedsheets and pure wool blankets- no nasty synthetics! and good cooking facilities and equipment. 
There is a pantry cupboard, stocked with essentials, full sized fridge and lots of cupboards for storage in the kitchen, as well as a clothes closet with hanging space and shoe rack.
We have Cable TV , Wireless Internet and a DVD player, so there are many options for relaxing.

The building is quiet, despite its busy location in Bondi Rd, halfway between the beach and Bondi Junction, where there is great shopping for all tastes and a railway station, from which you can catch a quick train to the city or beyond.

You will have total privacy- I live outside of Sydney and only use the apartment when I have a job in Sydney, where I work in Films & TV.

Directions

If coming from the airport, you can get a taxi or Uber direct to the apartment.

You can catch a train from the airport to Bondi Junction, but you need to change at Central station.

From Bondi Junction you can walk if you don't have too much luggage, or get the bus no. 333, 380 or 381 which all stop near the apartment building.

House rules

1. No pets, parties or young children. This is a small apartment in a large block so I expect guests to be considerate of those around them by keeping the noise level down, not slamming doors etc.

2. No smoking- the smoke alarm is sensitive and will go off ( same applies to burning toast!)

3. If anything is broken or not working, contact me as soon as possible- I don't lve there and expect guests to keep me informed.

4. Before you leave, please change the bed linen and towels and wash them if time permits- full instructions for the departure procedure are in the apartment.

5. Please respect our  beautiful environment- Sydney's tap water is safe to drink so there is no need to buy bottled water. There is a re-useable coffee cup in the pantry cupboard, and try not to accept plastic bags from shops and supermarkets.

6. Make yourself as comfortable as possible, and treat the place as your temporary home- leave it as you found it, i.e. clean and neat!

Terms & conditions

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancel up to 7 days before check-in and get a 50% refund, minus the booking service fee.

1. Guests will be asked to pay a $300 security deposit at the time of booking- this is fully refundable after the apartment has been inspected and found to be clean and intact. Obviously minor breakages etc are not unexpected, but major damage or theft will be charged for. 

2. I don't live in Sydney, so am not usually able to greet guests. There is no set check in or check out time, because guests can let themselves in and out according to their arrival and departure schedule. When a guest confirms  a booking, I send them a Post Office box key. This key opens my PO box at the Post Office across the street, which has 24 hour access. The building security pass, apartment key, garage key and letter box key are kept in this box, and should be returned to it when you leave. If there is not time to organise this before a guest arrives, other arrangements c an be made, but this system usually works well.

3. Payment is made directly into my bank account or by Paypal, and must be completed before I send the PO box key.

We stayed at Loretta‘s for two weeks and it was the perfect vacation. The studio ist small and cosy with everything essential you need and more. Loretta has been a wonderful host, who doesn‘t live in Bondi so you have your privacy, but she is very quick with responding to your questions and problems via email/phone. The apartment has a perfect location with city buses departing right in front of the building and a 15 min walk down to the beach. Bondi Rd is a buzzing place with lots of cafes and restaurants and shops but gets quiet at night so you get your well-deserved rest. The balcony with sun in the morning and the rooftop & pool with views over Bondi Beach to one side and Sydney skyline to the other side is a great bonus. We would love to come again!

Little studio flat, perfect for a holiday! The location is very convenient, Bondi beach is only 15 minutes walk. Public transport is very close to get to the city. There is a rooftop pool, which is nice too. The building is continuously cleaned and kept in a good condition. Loretta provided us with many information regarding the flat. She left us a welcome card and a bottle of wine, which I felt as a nice gesture. Overall we had a good experience here.

Thanks Loretta. We were very comfortable, and really enjoyed the rooftop pool on warm afternoons. The views from the roof are spectacular. Public transport was just outside the door, and Bondi Beach a short walk away.

Loretta's place is clean well maintained flat on the 5th floor roughly half way between Bondi Junction and Bondi Beach so a great location. In our case we were able to book a long way ahead and when we arrived were able to check in easily as planned. It has every you need on arrival after a long journey with daily shopping needs just across the road. We would recommend Loretta's Place
