Captain’s Quarters Townhouses Terms and Conditions
A valid credit card (Visa or MasterCard) is required at the time of booking. The person making the booking must be 18 years old or over. We offer a number of payment options – cash, EFT and credit card. Credit cards will incur a 1.5% surcharge.
A non-refundable deposit of one night's accommodation per townhouse or in the case of an overnight booking 100% is required to confirm your booking.
Arrivals after 6pm office hours need to contact Susie or Keith 02 6493 4946 to make arrangements.
Number of Guests
Each townhouse caters for maximum of 4 people only, including children. The number of guests booked is confirmed in your booking confirmation and will never exceed the number of beds provided. If you wish to increase the number of occupants you must advise Captain’s Quarters prior to arrival to confirm additional costs. If you arrive with more than the number of guests confirmed you will be refused entry and you will still be charged for the entire booking. The prices quoted are for 2 people occupying one bedroom. If any additional beds are used a cleaning fee of $20 per bed per night will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of Captain’s Quarters guests only. It is available from 8.00am till dusk. No boisterous behaviour or undue noise will be acceptable at any time. No running or bombing is permitted. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The safety gates are to be closed at all times.
Glassware and breakables must not be taken into the fenced area surrounding the pool.
The entire property of Captain’s Quarters is non-smoking (this includes the outside areas). Guests can smoke in the rear laneway. Please use the receptacle provided and do not throw your butts on the ground. If there are smoking odours in the townhouse or cigarette butts in the garden additional cost of $300 will be charged to your credit card.
Captain’s Quarters is not suited to pets and they are not permitted.
Captain’s Quarters will not refund in the event your stay is cut short for any reason.
If, for some reason, you have to cancel more than 14 days prior to arrival we are happy to offer alternative available dates with the exception of Christmas and Easter Holidays. If you need to cancel between 14 days and 2 days we are happy to offer alternative dates however you will forfeit your deposit. Cancellations within 2 days of arrival date will incur full charges, unless prior arrangements have been made. In peak seasons (Christmas/January and Easter Holidays) if you have to cancel within 1 month of arrival you will be charged the full amount, unless that period is rebooked. If you have booked the entire property (three townhouses) and have to cancel you will forfeit your non-refundable deposit plus the above applies.
No Show Policy
If no cancellation has been made and you fail to show, you will be charged for the room nights booked plus an administration fee of AU$20.00.
Breakages or Loss and Damage
All breakages and loss or damages are to be reported immediately, charges will be incurred. Stains and food spills are damage and require notification and remedy and may incur a charge. For this reason we will require your credit card details as security. All undeclared breakages will incur a minimum $20.00 charge per item. Any items missing from the townhouse after departure will be charged to your credit card.
Captain’s Quarters is rated four stars in the self-catering category and this is reflected in the tariffs charged. Should a guest indicate, by the behavior or their actions, that you require assistance with returning the townhouse to the condition it was in on your arrival then a $65 assisted cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card.
If there are strong smells and/or strong cooking odours when you depart an additional fee of $300 to deodorize the townhouse will be charged to your credit card. If incoming guests refuse to take up occupancy due to these smells and/or strong cooking odours from previous tenancies the loss will be recoverable from the departed guest responsible.
